I learned a couple days ago, as I was driving I-85, that Charlie Daniels has a blog. When I got home I found it and it is as wonderful as I expected. So check it out, I just want to hug his big ol awsome self :) and this post, as I'm sure all of them but I haven't had time to read them all yet, is so very right on the money.

Years ago I was shopping with my Linda Lou at a store that was the predecesser to Wal Mart Supercenters and Charlie was autographing albums. Anyway there was a huge long line and so I just waved as I was going by.
A big smil;e came over his face and he waved back as if he were seeing his sweetheart on the dock as he came back from a six month Mediterreanian Fleet Cruise.
I always liked him but that turned me into a fan.
He is a good man, and reading a handfull of his posts tells me he truely is as his stage persona would indicate.
I've always liked him.
