I can't resist, here are a couple more pictures from the markets in Bangkok

This picture shows flower garlands hanging in rows. The ladies sitting at the table are stringing them.

The people we saw working in the markets were generally happy - laughing and talking to each other. Our guide told us the Thai are known for their happy attitudes and laughter. I must say, I believe him.

Stringing garland... I would like to see it, not necessarily something I'd like to do. ;-)

Would kill my back, but then again the Thai traditionally do not use furniture in their homes, just shelves (of course this is changing - but many of the homes we saw still had only shelving around the outer edge) and are accustomed to squatting for long periods of time so I'd think chairs would be a major improvement. These ladies chattered and laughed with each other non-stop. Not the life any of us would chose, but they seemed content with it. Perhaps not their first choice of life, but content.

Awesome; love all the pictures! The fruit is *so* very exotic!

I believe that the simpler life is, the more content we are... or is that just me? Heh...

These are just amazing posts and pics. Amazing. Just beautiful.
Also, you're making me feel guilty about not putting out my Clark Griswold array of lights this year. Our oldestsaid "Yes. Put the Christmas tree up."
    So, I shall.

    Hi Froth!
Runway lights on the yard makes things easier for Rudolf. Just sayin :)
