I love Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio!
Pam wants to know why this time. Here is the link to the article that reminded me how much I just love this man
But I've loved this guy from the first time I heard about him. We need to find a way to clone him.

Patti- I sooo totally agree with you!!!
Ummm... last I looked, illegal immigration was AGAINST THE LAW. Hence "illegal", Einsteins! If they were stopped for a lawful reason and they are discovered to be illegal immigrants, or otherwise not able to show proper ID (like a drivers license while driving, for corn's sakes) they are BREAKING THE LAW. And the Maricopa Sheriff's office is only ENFORCING THE LAW AS WRITTEN. Furthermore, the state of Arizona is only trying to protect its borders (since the feds won't do it) so the feds have no business telling the states they can't uphold and enforce the law, unless they want to legalize illegal immigration. So Sheriff Joe is just presenting his backside to the DHS and telling them to kiss it, they have no authority meddling in the state of Arizona's business.
I hope we see more states (Texas, anyone?) start giving the finger to the federal government for interfering in state affairs and telling them "whatcha gonna do? you going to come down here and make us?" All the Feds can do is cut off funding to the states, and since they're spending imaginary money anyway, what's the difference?
Well there ya go :)
Crazy that this isn't how law enforcement is everywhere, huh?
